LYRICS LA DONNA E MOBILE (We've got Brett Ormerod) Since being adopted as a terrace chant, this tune has appeared on British television adverts and films. To be fair, West Ham were the first set of supporters to sing to this tune with their song for Paulo di Canio. The tune was copied by clubs all over the country and Saints are no exception. The Saints version was sung as early on as the Liverpool home game (season 2000/2001) when "Sit down Pinnochio" was also chanted throughout the game to Phil Thompson. Saints version: We've got Brett Ormerod, We've got Brett Ormerod, We've got Brett Ormerod, We've got Brett Ormerod. (repeat from beginning) This song is a favourite on match day. The funniest time this tune was used was at a Saints game at home to Fulham. One of the linesmen was of the female variety and when she gave a dubious offside decision, the Saints supporters chanted, "You should be washing up." Good general versions are "Sit down you're going down" and "That's why you're Nationwide."
