P.S. The words "Southampton" and "relegation" should NEVER be used in the same sentence! Why? Proudest set of footballing strugglers to ever pull on boots! Over the years we've been the training ground for some of the best footballers ever seen in England and beyond e.g. Mick Channon, Chris Nichol, Alan Ball, Martin Chivers, Rodney Wallace, Peter Shilton, Tim Flowers, Kevin Keegan, Alan Shearer, etc. - and needless to say, the epitome of class and loyalty, Legend Le God!
We don't need megabucks to get into Europe again, just a lot of heart (and a touch of luck), and that's my hope (determined to see that happen!). My dream? To be a guest of St Mary's when Saints trounce Man U 6-1, once again...
