Woodward blueprint due - crunch talks ahead
by Nick Illingsworth

The UglyInside.com is led to believe that in the next week, Rupert Lowe, Sir Clive Woodward and Harry Redknapp are due to hold talks to discuss the ex-England Rugby Coach's Blueprint for the Club. This meeting could have far-reaching consequences.

Whilst it should be stressed that this website has no prior knowledge of the content of this Blueprint it's believed to alledgedly include criticism of the current standard of the training at the Club, the overall standards of fitness and perhaps most controversial of all the way that the team prepares for games. Anyone who believed that Woodward, one of the most respected coaches in modern sport, was being brought in to work with the youth team only is being a trifle naive, and indeed Lowe can be accused of many things, but one of those isn't being forward-thinking, and he has been itching to use Woodward's methods for a long time.

But where will this leave Harry Redknapp? We are led to believe that there is detail in this report that although not attacking Redknapp's methods personally, will be in direct contrast to how he is currently operating, and the question is, will Harry be prepared to change his ways, or is it too late to teach an old dog new tricks?

It should be stressed that our source is saying that the Blueprint for the Club does not intimate that Woodward will be taking a more hands-on role in regard to team selection and tactics.

This meeting of perhaps the three biggest decision makers in Southampton Football Club will surely produce some difference of opinion, but the fact is Sir Clive Woodward has not been brought in to draw up changes that won't be acted on. In the main they will happen, with Harry's agreement or not, and if he doesnt like it then he will have two choices!!
